Over the past few days, I have created a school from the world of Harry Potter. Here I will publish the details. It may become the home for some short stories!
Outside
Muggles, or Non-Maj, will see this wizarding school to be an abandoned parking garage. When they enter, they will be revolted and will want to leave. Magic Folk, on the other hand, will see a towering, silver building with large windows looking down on Chicago.
Inside
The school is seven stories high, as follows:
1. Registration and Technical Services
2. Student Services (Teachers offices, Cafeteria)
3. Classroom/Dorm
4. Classroom/Dorm
5. Classroom/Dorm
6. Classroom/Dorm
7. Outdoor Recreation (Level is enchanted to look like it is outside)
Instead of having dorms like at Hogwarts, each child is assigned a locker with an extension charm placed over it. The lockers change color based on mood, and instead of having a locker number on it, they have a tag stating whether the owner is or is not inside of it. Lockers are separated by two curtains. No sound can get through the curtains, and only staff and the student owning the locker can open the curtain. Say Mira in one locker, and Susan-Rose is in the one next to her. Mira could open her curtain, but if Susan-Rose's wasn't open, then she couldn't see or hear her.
This is about as far as I have gotten. Hopefully I can advance it in the years to come!
