Writing Contest

OVERVIEW

After blogging for over a year, I have decided to hold my first ever writing contest on The Words Are Flowing. Each participant will get one, free, submission that is under 5000 words. To learn about components, specifications, and rewards, read ahead,

COMPONENTS

1. Submit an application form by March 1. (see below)
2. Submit your original piece of writing by March 15. (see below) Fanfiction, Poetry, Fiction- anything is allowed.

SPECIFICATIONS

To participate, you must…

1. Be on google plus/have a gmail email.
2. Entirely fill out the application form.

Your writing must…

1. Be original- fanfiction is allowed.
2. Be 5000 words or less.
3. Be submitted by the deadline of March 15th.
4. Not be published anywhere else- we will assume that to be plagiarism and you will be disqualified.

WINNERS

There will be first, second, and third place winners as well as two honorable mentions. The first place winner gets that writing and another piece of writing published on The Words Are Flowing and a follow from me. The second and third place winners also get their writing posted on The Words Are Flowing. Honorable mentions will win a shout out on The Words are Flowing.
